Child Safety Standards

Standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE)

1. Our commitment

Adam & Hawa is a matrimonial platform for adults aged 18 and over who are seeking marriage in accordance with Islamic values. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including any content or behaviour that endangers children.

2. Age restriction

The Service is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that a minor has created an account, we will remove the account and associated data promptly.

3. Prohibited content and conduct

Users must not use the Service to:

  • Share, request, or promote child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Groom or exploit minors
  • Post sexual content involving minors
  • Misrepresent their age to contact minors

4. In-app reporting and blocking

Users can help keep the community safe by:

  • Reporting profiles from the profile screen
  • Reporting individual chat messages
  • Blocking or hiding other members
  • Submitting support tickets or feedback from account settings

Reports are reviewed by our team. We may suspend or permanently remove accounts that violate these standards.

5. Moderation

We use automated checks (including profanity filtering) and human review of reports. Serious violations result in account suspension or termination. We maintain records of enforcement actions as required for safety and legal compliance.

6. Reporting to authorities

Where we identify content or behaviour that may constitute child sexual abuse or exploitation, we report it to the appropriate regional and national authorities, including where applicable the UK National Crime Agency (NCA) and the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), and we comply with applicable child safety laws.

7. Child safety contact

For child safety concerns about Adam & Hawa, contact us at support@adamhawa.com. We will respond to urgent safety reports as quickly as possible.
